When searching for the best kids indoor play centers in Shanghai, give the NBA Playzone a try.

Where is it:
Second floor of Hubindao Mall, 150 Hubin Rd, near Xintiandi in Luwan district.
How much:
¥138 per child, and annoyingly, ¥50 per adult to enter. They do have cheaper prices if you buy packages.
What is there to do:
The good thing is that the NBA Playzone can suit kids up to around 9-10, whereas other play places are good for kids around 7 and under to play in.
This is because there is a decent size ‘jungle gym’, play zone that older kids will still enjoy, and, they can play basketball on the mini size basketball court.
Other than that, it’s good for ages 1-7 as there is a smaller area for ages 2-4, as well as trampolines, a place to sit and draw or do led activities.
If you join their WeChat at the Playzone then you can be kept up to date with featured activities they have through the year, including real NBA stars coming for special meet and greets.
They have toilets inside the Playzone which is useful, so you don’t need to go outside.
They also do party packages, so ask when there.
Food:
There is snacks such as pizza-bread, pasta, crisps, drinks, but Hubindao Mall itself has lots of decent restaurants, both in the food court at B2 and the fancy restaurants on the third floor.
